And so, here starts our journey to the northside of Portugal! This is one of the many representations of the bible that u can find in Bom Jesus de Braga! Though I'm not catholic, I find this exquisitly beautiful! Forgive me if it's a little out of focus, but these were inside little chappels, which were very dark, and i didnt have my tripod! I've never had a chance to see churches with ornate depictions like this...
I guess they don't have many in the states (or at least not where I've lived...)

I just wish u could see the whole magnificence of it all!
Cause, as the staircases of stone go down the hill, in each of its levels, u have 2 of these little "chappels" with these depictions, one on each side! And statues! And fountains!
Seen from the bottom, u can see all the levels topped by that amazing church!
Its really amazing!
I wish I did walk down those stairs, just to take a photo of this I just described u!
But they are such long stairs!!!! So laziness won!
